Thank You Saha!

What happened when you woke up and found out you missed the first half action soccer match? Me? Nothing happened. I just freaked out. Yeah, I woke up in the 43rd minute of the first half, thanks to the ‘desire’ to watch MU.

So, for the first time, in the history book of S0cc3RBlog, I can’t give u any review in the first half of the match. All I knew were, MU was doing defensive work, Roo was stationed on the left flank, Ronaldo was booed by the home supporters, and Thank God, no Fletcher nor Richardson in the 1st 11.

The rest, maybe u can drop by @ Soccernet.

Ok, 2nd half here u go.

Benfica kicked off the 2nd half. And I finally understand what the commentator was saying. MU has struggled and the opponent has been having a lot of possession. Ronaldo has been the threat, pulling out the opponent defence with his slick skills.

Scholes won the ball and quickly send it to Ronaldo whose making a quick run. He spotted Saha on the rite flank and pass it to him. Calm and composed, Saha pulled a trigger and score the winner. It seems to get a lil’ deflection on the opponent boots, but the goal was a good one.

Ironically, the movement was almost similiar to the one when MU won againts Charlton if I am not mistaken. Everyone gave more attention to Ronaldo’s run and misinterpret Saha’s body language. Benfica looked lost and easily disposes by MU.

Saha cud’ve add in his goal tally but his shot was inches wide after being fed by Carrick on the right side. Ronaldo again, run the show and this time, he was fouled rite outside the penalty box. Giggsy wasn’t in, so the freekick duty was shouldered to Ronaldo himself.

He nicked the ball passed the opponent but the ball failed to curled inside the net. Otherwise, it cud be a great moment for the man who was abused all nite. There’s time however for Benfica to pull an equaliser after Ronaldo fouled Simao on the outside of the penalty box.

Simao remembered for his great goal againts Liverpool last season, took it but this time his shot was too hard to bother Van Der Sar. There’s time for Rooney, who had been quiet and limited to defense work, to score. Neville, saw his surging run and beautifully passes the ball to him.

He stopped it, beat his marker and curled his shot. It wasn’t a goal but at least we saw some positive movement down the left flank. By the time he released the ball, there are 4 opponent defenders surrounding him!

Heinze has been great in the 2nd half * I didn’t watched 1st half so I know nuts abt it!*. He even had his shot saved. No doubt he was no 1 choice in the left back. Carrick even had a shot on goal. Perhaps if he nicked it hard, he wud’ve put his name in the CL score list. Roo and Saha were withdrawn to make way for Fletcher and Smith.

Overall, *in the 2nd half*, I saw a great spirit and battle in the team. Without Richardson or Fletcher in the starting line up the team looks far better. This is MU first away match win. Over the past 3 years, we cud only draw or loose away games. Hope this is the starting point for them.

Anyway, can’t comment much coz God knows what Fergie has been saying the in the 2nd half to lift the team. Thank you God! Thank you! Up next is Newcastle United. This is not an easy game but I hope MU can keep working their way, score goals and win! Up the DEVILS. Come on MU!

Missing Giggsy no 2

I dun have any other words to describe how upset I am with the way MU play their game at the moment. And who the hell say we dun need Giggsy? WHO? What the f**k can Richardson give to the team? Can’t even run pass the defender, can’t dribble, can’t defend, can’t score, bla..bla..bla..

I’m getting fed up with u so-called new generation! FED UP! I am not gonna curse anymore but here’s my rating for u guys

Van Der Sar - had a relax nite. was unlucky not to stop the opponent from scoring the penalty
Neville - I never rate him as a captain. and today again, he showed why he is not up to the     standard. poor defending end up for the penalty! You better kill urself for dat.
Rio - Had some not-so-nice moment with the opponent. Slow as usual. Nothing spectacular ever come from him
Vidic - At 1 point I was wondering, is he defending or is he jogging? I prefer Brown!
Heinze - If u want to see the real hardman, u’ll find in him! Welcome back Heinze!
Richardson - U’ll never ever get to the line up nor the bench once Giggsy is fit! It is FACT!
Flecther - Run about but nothing extraordinary from him. But plays better in the center rather than the flank. Still, I am not convinced!
Scholes - Shud’ve scored in the first half. Average. Still nothing spectacular out of him.
Carrick - Run like a women. Instead of defending, he gets away when opponent wanted to pass the ball. He’s not the hard man ur looking for in the centre midfield. I for once, never rated him. If Owen ever join MU, u can find himself sleeping in the hotel! MORON!
Rooney - Lack of match fitness and was found guilty at times for not releasing the ball early. Shud’ve scored in 2nd half.
Ronaldo - Was a better player for me. Scored the equaliser. Thank God! Hope he can keep doing dat and win for MU while bro Giggs is injured.
Saha - Set to loosen some opponent defensive work when he came off the bench. Might get in the scoresheet if he starts the game.
Solskjaer - Nothing special from the baby face killer this time.
O’Shea - Fresh legs shud show more pace when came off the bench. But this guy, slow as usual. Though he did makes few runs down the flank.

MIssing Giggsy! BADLY!

Manchester United vs Reading

Meriah semacam aje budak2 kat bawah umah aku ni.. Tak penah lak aku denga meriah camni sempena nak pose ni. Ke suke sebab esok lom pose? Muehehe. Nuff said. Had couple of event to attend tomorrow before another soccer match. MU vs Reading. Haa.. membaca. Hehehe.

If I am not mistaken, I read somewhere abt Reading or The Royals as the local nicknamed them. The team was 1 of the oldest in English Football history. Tah tahun baper can’t recall. Another thing that everyone shud know *pls skip this if you already knew*, the team was promoted from the Championship side last season and guess what? They are one of the high flyers in the EPL.

Forget abt Liverfools, or Arse, this team showed determination and proved everyone wrong. Earlier, soccer pundit didn’t put much faith nor ‘money’ on this team, but like I said, they proved everybody wrong! They are in fact above Liv and Arse at the moment. Wud u believe it?

That’s why, I was a lil’ bit wary *aku plak yg wary* of this team, when MU visited them tomorrow *morning la kirenye*. According to the record, they’ve never loose at home starting from last season’s game. My! This is scary! Yeah, I know, MU looked strong on the paper. But with recent poor performance againts Arse, am a lil’ bit worry.

Unless, Giggsy or Park is on the team, then, I believe we cud nick something out of this game. Even the pundit predict MU to win this match with slim 1 goal advantage. See, how close the prediction is. Normally, org kate kalau team br masuk EPL sure sayur la kena makan.

Not this time I think. Looking back these years, u’ll see loads of surprises. It wasn’t down to popularity or how many trophies you won with a team, it was more to determination to challenge big names and show them some pride. If you cud remember, earlier this season how Boro humilated Chel$ki?

Now, I really hope MU cud play all out and work things out. Fergie oh Fergie. Pls for God sake, dun put Fletcher on the flank. Dun u see what damaged it cud do to the flow of game? We really need to buckle up especially in centre midfield area.

We’ve let ourselves down with a defeat againts Arse last week. Now, walk the talk MU! Walk the talk! Come on MU!

Missing Giggsy!

That’s all I can say. We didn’t play well. Every angle seems not perfect. First and foremost, for thousand times, I NEVER rate Fletcher. Thus, watching him playing on the flank was nothing but like watching a ‘girl’ playing for a school football match. Nothing spectacular, nothing extravagant, bullshitting all the time!

2nd, I can’t wait for Heinze and Vidic to come back. So Fergie cud show the door to Rio,who had lucrative contract but showed nothing but under par performance. Rio, do u have to jog and keep ‘calm’ as though as nothing happen until u can stuck ur legs out? O’Shea, you think ur safe there? Me think you’re the joke in the team. SUPER joke that I cudn’t see where you fit to be in the team.

Ronaldo - Do you have to be booed for every touches you made so you cud scored or play much better game? We had chances and we waste them. ALL. I think you guys are bunch of CLOWNS, under-rated, Manchester United-wannabe players, and deserves nothing but my boot!

I really feel like kicking ur face 1 by 1. I like to re-iterate that no one is playing better than Giggsy now. No one! People have been saying that Giggsy is old, but what the f**k does the so-called new generation has? We haven’t had decent crosses whipped in, we haven’t had decent passes, the midfielders are bullshits, and I think we can loose more games with these kind of players!

Seriously, we only had 2 injuries in the midfield, yet, it was massive and we cud see that in the Arse game. There’s a big hole and that hole is not easily patch up with Fletcher or O’Shea. These 2 b*****s were nothing but crap! I thot, Fergie shud start with 3 strikers. Nevermind Ole, but Roo is mobile, he can just step in Giggsy’s boot.

Whatever it is, we are now level on points wit Chel$ki. Which is NOT a good news. Buckle up MU. Buckle up! When Giggsy’s not playing, the game is plain, SUPER plain. Miss u bro! Get well soon! :|

Battle of the Britain I

I wasn’t having the best day yesterday. Rite after lunch, I felt like my brain is going somewhere else. I can’t focused. Padahal keje menimbun! I tired to keep myself on track with the item I need to work on tp sumer tak jalan.

Dlm hati ni tak sabar2 nak balik. Dah tak larat nak duduk kat office dah. Went home rite after office hour and prepare myself for our usual futsal game. Same thing, main takat2 gitu je la. Tak bersungguh langsung! Tah nape. Sumer mcm tak best.

Balik terus tido. Dah niat nak tgk MU vs Celtic. Tah mcm mane terbangun lagi 10 min pukul 3. Shit! As far as I cud recall, the game was supposed to start at 2am. Terus pegi living room. Laa… br nak start. ‘Just nice la kirenye aku bgn ni’, I told myself.

The game started with MU holding much of the possession. But I was shocked to see Fletcher in place for Ron. Erk. Where’s Ji-Sung? We had couple of chances particularly Saha. Paling geram tgk ref waved for play on when it was clear the opponent defenders blocking Saha from making the run to penalty box.

What was the linesmen thinking? Tak nampak ke? I supposed they just missed the scene. All of the sudden, the strike force of Celtic got off his marker, thanks to Rio’s lapsed of concentration, and Boruc long kick, he scored passed Van der Sar.

OT was stunned. Me too. What the f**k was Rio doing? From that on, Celtic confident build up as they started to explore the centre midfield. I dun like the way Carrick work his way. He needs to work things out and not making silly mistakes which he did. Many times, he was out of position and not helping the defence.

Minutes after, we got a lucky break courtesy of Giggsy’s surging run down the left flank to get a long ball. As he took the ball down, Boruc the Celtic keeper, unnecesarily body-checked him and fouled him in the process. The ref was near and without hesitation, point to the penalty spot and yellow carded the ‘angry’ Boruc.

Yeah, I think it was a soft penalty, but justice is finally began to pay off. Celtic has been working on some untidy challenge and I believe this is payback time. Saha calmly took the penalty and shot pass Boruc who guessed it rite, just not enuff power to push it wide. Sadly, Giggsy was taken off for injuring his hamstring and reports said he’ll be out for abt 3 weeks. :((

Moments later, Gravesen the former Everton and Real Madrid hard men, loose a ball inside his own half, quick-thinking Scholes took away the ball and passed to Saha for his 2nd goal. OT roared and I was smiling. Way to go Saha!

However, we did not work our way out and Celtic eased thru the midfield and Brown has to make the challenged which fouled Celtic players just outside the penalty box. Nakamura, the man who told reporters that Celtic is not ready to face MU, stepped in and curled his shot pass static Van der Sar.  F**k! They equalised just before half time.

2nd half began, and Fergie switch Roo to the flank and push Solksjaer to partner Saha. The move pay off as Solksjaer shot pass helpless Boruc to give MU the lead. That goal was again, courtesy of Saha whose shot was blocked by defenders but Saha manage to square it to Solskjaer. Thank God!

We began to control the game, but few things does not look like it supposed to be that way. Central midfield is still losing out their passes and Rio almost punished once again by his marker. Luckily, he got his foot earlier to blocked the shot.

Celtic have the chance to equalised, but the Dutchmen header was handled safely by Van der Sar. Saha had couple of chances but Boruc was equally to the challenge. He even save from his own players! How fantastic!

Roo too, has chances of his own, but his shot was blocked by who else but Boruc. I hope MU can keep on scoring goals and winning. We’re meeting Arse this coming Sunday and Giggsy plus Ji-Sung are out! Did I mentioned that Ji-Sung is going to have a surgery on his ankle? Yeah, he damage his ankle ligament during training. *sigh*

Keep on winning MU! Keep scoring goals! Get well soon Giggsy. We need u!

Arini mmg tak mcm ari2 yg lain. Arini aku balik awal. Arini jugak mak aku tepon kate aku ade surat saman. Masuk saman ni, dah 3 kali Encik Satria kena saman. Ape punye nasib la. Aku malas nak baya tp mak aku dah bising. Takut polis dtg ketok pintu umah carik aku. *sigh* Begitulah paranoidnye mak aku.

Aku cume pelik, of all places aku kena speed trap kat MR2 K****g. Bukan ke tpt tu ade construction, mcm mane aku bley speed plak kat situ tgh bute? Ajaib betol! Dah la saman tu bulan Julai, aritu aku renew roadtax end of aug hampagas sorang pon tak ckp ape2. Kate kalau ade saman tak bley nak renew roadtax. Tah hape2. *bagus gak la.. kang betol tak bg renew roadtax mcm mane mau jalan?*

Tgk la nanti kalau mood aku baik, aku bayo la. Kalau lagi baik aku mintak la pak polisi tunjuk  snapshot keta aku yg cun tu :p Oh ok, back to the actual agenda. Sebenarnye aku balik awal sbb adik aku nak bukak pose. Dia mintak teman pegi pasar malam.

Balik dr pasar malam aku terus shower than makan. Sebenarnye mata aku mcm tak boleh bukak dah. SUPER ngantok. Tp sbb aku nampak catalogue IKEA baru sampai terbesar plak mata. :) Lepas tu teringat, eh mane hp aku ek?

I then checked out for miscall and msgs. Sape ni? Siap tny nama penuh tu. Miscall from the same no pung ade. So aku pon call. Mane la tau opis call ke. Mampos kalau ade urgent matter! I then heard a very2 familiar voices. It was *.*****.

Thank God we have Giggs!

Once again, we’re SUPER lucky. Why? Coz we scored early goal and got away with 4 to 5 opponent chances to equalized. Thank God we have Giggsy! Carrick finally show his true colors commanding the midfield area. But something is missing. The spark of the game wasn’t there.

Loads of misplace passes especially from England man - Rio and Richardson. I have nothing to complaint about Richardson. I mean he’s fast *compared to O’Shea/Fletcher*, can score from outside the penalty box, etc, etc. But this guy has no vision in his game.

No game plan. I recieved a ball, try run or dribble past defenders then loose the ball, then? Nothing! I dunno but looking at the way he play I dun think he deserved a place in the team. I dunno why Mac selected him, but to me he’s not a ‘dangerous’ player.

Ronaldo had a quiet game in the first half no wonder I heard less boos. :) Seriously, he didn’t get much of the ball. He looks out of sort. Mcm penat jek. Contrary to Ji-Sung who came off the bench and produce some great build up play. And he’s flying all the way from Seoul? Doesn’t look like a jet-legged to me.

Well, ok Fergie might want to give him a rest then why opt for Richardson? I wud play Solskjaer on the flank. Yeah, he’s old but he scored goals for Norway. When Beckham was axed from the team, he was the man who fill his boots. So why not?

Defends was ok though there are times when my heart stop beating watching the two central defenders drifting wide and let Mido or Defoe attacked us. Somehow, I see Brown is much more comfortable then Rio.

However, we cud’ve ease the way if only we took our chances. Ronaldo’s freekick was way off mark. Dunno wat in his mind. Then when he raced to thru ball, his pass was just way off Saha. Saha got his chance to put his name on the scoresheet but instead of squaring the ball to Ji-Sung or Ronnie he fired his shot wide.

Aww man! We had few chances and I think we need to improve our ball delivery for corner. None of the player waited outside the box like Scholesy or Roo did. As you can see, loads of the ball were flicked away from the penalty box and everyone had to run away from the penalty box to get the ball.

Moments later, Giggsy’s fine thru ball found Saha. It was a tremendous thru ball and he raced thru to the penalty box, got away from his marker but not Robbo. Damn! I thot he scored. Seriously! Sygnye! Robbo’s excellent save keep his team believing that they can get an equalizer.

But Van Der Sar was excellent thru out the game. He did everything, pushing the ball away, blocked Dawson’s shot, save with his legs, everything under the sun! He’s the man! I hope Kuszak cud benefit and learn from this man.

We have Celtic on Wednesday morning(nite?). By then Scholes and Roo will be back. I hope we can keep up the good work. What is my ideal line up for the game? Saha, Roo, Giggsy, Ronaldo, Scholes Carrick, Neville, Evra, Rio, Brown and Van Der Sar. Sub - Park, Solskjaer, Kuszak, Silvestre, Smith perhaps?

Come on MU! Keep winning! Keep scoring goals!
